Much of the personal work I did last year was a direct result of trusting and following my inner guidance.
The quirky thing about inner guidance is that you don’t know in exact terms where you’re heading. There’s a ‘knowing’ nudging you forward, one step at a time. And only with the benefit of hindsight does the magical path of guidance become visible.
I haven’t always done things this way.
I’ve been in the corporate space for 30+ years. Until my late 30’s I chose head over heart, grit over gut, every time.
But for the last 15 years, I’ve consistently opened myself up to a wider perspective. I’ve learned that these nudges will take me beyond what I know. They’ll guide me to something that helps me grow and evolve as a person and as a leader.
These days it’s very common for me to have ideas or divine inspiration show up out of thin air.
